KARACHI: Karachi police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested an accused involved in the targeted killing of police personnel in the metropolis.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Irfan Bahadur told that a police team conducted a raid in Sukhan area near Mehran Highway locality of the metropolis on a tip-off. During the raid, police apprehended a wanted target killer namely Roshan involved in the targeted killing of policemen in different areas of the city. He claimed that the suspect was wanted in 38 criminal cases.
He further said police have also recovered a hand grenade, a rifle and one pistol from his possession. Weapons were taken into possession and the detainee was being interrogated, said the SSP.
