25-year-old Asma suffered burns on 80 per cent of her body as Rizwan Gujjar set her on fire to take revenge for rejecting his marriage proposal. The accused confessed to his crimes and was sent to jail.

Sindhi artist killed as family claims alleged blasphemy

Qutub Rind, a graduate from the National College of Arts, was in Lahore for a show when a rental dispute with his landlord turned fatal. The family claimed that the young artist was killed on cooked up charges of blasphemy as law enforcement agencies refuted it and argued otherwise.

Foul play in Pakpattan DPO’s transfer

Deputy air chief’s son shot by a sentry 

Muhammad Ibrahim was critically injured after a Pakistan Navy guard opened fire on his car when the driver failed to stop the vehicle for ID verification and inspection at the Zafar Gate of Naval Complex entry in Sector E-8. He was immediately rushed to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) hospital where the bullet was successfully removed from his body, however, the injured boy was reported to be paralysed waist down.
