ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif Monday met his brother and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President, Shehbaz Sharif, at the ministers’ enclosure in Islamabad.
According to details, both the PML-N leaders discussed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases and prevailing political situation in the country. Shehbaz also took Nawaz into confidence over contacting opposition parties.
It is worth mentioning here that NAB had arrested Shehbaz in the Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme scam on October 5. The former Punjab chief minister is accused of illegally awarding contracts to different firms.
