With Deepika-Ranveer’s wedding festivities wrapping up, all eyes are on the next celebrity wedding. It has been reported that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will be tying the knot on December 1 at Umaid Bhavan Palace Hotel in Jodhpur in an extravaganza that may stretch over days.
While the details of the wedding have been closely guarded, sources have revealed that the wedding will be a close-knit family affair and a separate celebration for her film fraternity friends will take place later. A traditional Indian wedding is expected to take place on December 1, followed by a Christian wedding on December 2. Their sangeet and mehendi ceremony will be held on November 29 and 30.
Priyanka is expected to continue with her work till the very last day, while Nick is reportedly already en route to the wedding venue. And for good reason.
According to Filmfare, Nick is arriving before everyone else to brush up his dancing skills with choreographer Ganesh Hegde and to practise the songs he will be performing at the sangeet ceremony. He is expected to perform on a number of songs which includes a couple of Priyanka’s as well. He will also be dancing with Priyanka on Pinga and Gallan Goodiyan.
Nick’s family will be joining him in Jodhpur this weekend and Priyanka will finish of all her commitments by November 27 to reach Jodhpur by November 28. Priyanka’s mother was recently in Jodhpur to check up on her daughter’s wedding preps.
Priyanka and Nick got engaged in a traditional ‘roka’ ceremony in August at the actress’ Mumbai residence after two years of dating.
