LHC reunites rescued children with mother

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday handed over two rescued children to their mother.

LHC Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan heard the petition filed by Gulnaz, a resident of Green Town, regarding her missing children.

The lady told the court that her husband Rashid Parvez was in Malaysia and her mother-in-law had handed over her two children to a relative in Sindh.

The court directed to rescue the children and produce them in court.

Legal SP Rana Latif and Sindh police produced the rescued children – Munazza, 07, and Ayan Rashid, 04, – in the court.

The court lauded the SP, Sindh police for prompt action and handed the rescued children to the woman.

Moving scenes were witnessed in the court when the woman was reunited with her children.
