LAHORE: Yousaf Naseem Khokhar, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), has been appointed as the new chief secretary of Punjab, a notification of the Establishment Division said on Tuesday.
“Presently posted as the Interior Division secretary, Yousaf Naseem Khokhar, is transferred and posted as the Punjab chief secretary with immediate effect and until further orders,” said the notification.
Meanwhile, the outgoing chief secretary, Akbar Hussain Durrani, was directed to report to the Establishment Division for further posting while Maj (r) Azam Suleman Khan was posted as the Interior Division secretary.
