KARACHI: Higher officials of police have decided to launch an operation against police personnel involved in dining at hotels without making any payment.

According to media reports, Karachi Police Chief Amir Ahmad Sheikh has caught two police personnel red-handed while having a meal free of cost from a hotel.

Police chief reprimanded them and directed them to pay hotel bill by themselves.

On the other hand, hotel owners said that police officials give threats to them and take food forcibly in the name of high officials.

They said through these steps, chances of betterment in the police department are expected.

Additional inspector general (AIG) also issued a WhatsApp number to hear complaints of hotel owners and if any official ever threats them then they can lodge their complaint.
