All Sindh private institutions convention held in Sukkur

 SUKKUR: Association of Private Institutions (API), Sukkur chapter, on Tuesday organized the All Sindh Private Institutions (education) Convention 2018.

Addressing the event, Sindh Private School Management Association Chairman Sharafuz Zaman, who was also the chief guest, urged the private schools’ managements not to lose patience and hold talks with the concerned authorities on genuine problems.

He advised the government to recognize the role of private sector in the field of education, listen to their problems and try to provide facilities wherever possible.

“Private sector schools have been playing a significant role not only in enhancing literacy rate, but also in providing quality education to the children,” the chairman said.

Sukkur Deputy Director (Private Schools) Imdad Kalwar on the occasion said the government, without public participation, cannot achieve the goal of providing basic education facilities to the children.

API President Bashir Chana demanded that students, as well as the private institutions, should be provided with facilities in accordance with the rules and regulations of the board.

API Vice-President Rubina Kayani said the government and private schools’ managements have to work together so that the next generation could not blame us for any failure in the education sector.
