LONDON: Former wife of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, Jemima Goldsmith has called the termination of Atif Mian’s services as a member of Economic Advisory Council(EAC) as ‘indefensible and very disappointing.”
“New Pak govt asks renowned and Prof of economics to stand down because of his faith. The founder of Pakistan, “Quaid-I-Azam” appointed an Ahmadi as his Foreign Minister,” said Jemima in a tweet.

Earlier during the day, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry confirmed the government has withdrawn the nomination of Atif Mian as a member of Economic Advisory Council(EAC).
