Gen Bajwa spends a day with families of martyrs

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa spent a day with families of martyrs and ghazis at the Army Auditorium in General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.

The army chief interacted with all of them one by one and got updated on their wellbeing and problems. He gave on spot directions to assist them in resolving their problems.

Talking to them, Gen Bajwa said that the army and nation cannot thank them enough for the sacrifice rendered by them. “Army shall continue to take care of the families of its shuhadas,” he said.

Families of martyrs thanked the COAS for his cooperation and acknowledged the institution as one family.

DEFENCE DAY CEREMONY ATTENDEES THANKED:

Gen Bajwa thanked all honourable guests for attending the ‘Defence & Martyrs Day’ ceremony held here at the General Headquarters on September 6.

“We displayed ‘Faith-Unity-Discipline’ as a nation across the country.  Same shall take us to our rightful destination, IA (In Sha Allah). Salute to martyrs and their families,” Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor quoted the COAS as saying in his tweet.
