KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Manzoor Wassan on Sunday predicted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government likely to be formed at Centre shortly will hardly complete two and half years.
In a statement issued, Manzoor Wassan said that new PTI government will continue to be black-mailed by different political parties during its entire tenure.
He predicted that Imran Khan’s government would have to face severe hardships as the opposition would be strong and sit-ins would be held against it.
The PPP leader said that there was the possibility of dialogues with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to nominate party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as leader of the opposition.
Commenting about the Grand Democratic Alliance (DGA), the dreaming king said that it was “Ghundagardi Alliance” instead and people of Sindh took the revenge by rejecting it.
Manzoor Wassan alleged that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) used to win the election by stamping ballot papers in its office but this time the nation institutions ended the “Thappa Culture” due to which it adversely failed in the general election 2018.
However, he alleged the returning officers (RO) ill-treated some candidates contesting the general election.
The PPP leader said that name for chief minister of Sindh has not been finalised and the party leadership will decide it.
