ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has deposited Rs2200 million in the national exchequer after recovering the money from ‘corrupt elements’ during the last nine months.
According to the NAB, it has arrested 330 people in different cases. The anti-graft body has filed more than 1,200 corruption references in respective accountability courts across different parts of the country.
The bureau is also planning to file applications for early hearing of all the references under trial.
