Fazl pledges to rid country of terrorism, corruption if voted to power

RAWALPINDI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief  Maulana Fazlur Rehman pledged to rid the country from corruption and terrorism if the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), an alliance of various religious parties, was given the chance to rule the country.

Rehman, while addressing a public gathering at Liaquat Bagh, appreciated the efforts made by the Army against terrorism.

Moreover, he also condemned the recent incidents of terrorism in Peshawar, Bannu and Mastung.

He also critiqued the country’s foreign policy and said that Pakistan had found itself standing alone in the international arena.
