China urged to solve Pakistani citizen’s killing

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal on Friday said that the Pakistani mission has urged the Chinese government to solve Pakistani citizen’s killing in Shanghai.

Dr Faisal said that Pakistani mission in China is in constant contact with the Chinese government to provide justice to the Pakistani youth.

According to details, Pakistani youth, identified as Mugheezuddin, was allegedly attacked by a local and was injured seriously. He was taken to a hospital but he died on the way.

The FO spokesperson said that as Pakistani mission in Shanghai heard about the incident, it immediately shifted the victim to a hospital and contacted a local police station to register a case.

He said that the Pakistan mission has requested the Chinese government to take immediate action against the suspect and the Chinese government has assured for complete cooperation.

Dr Faisal said that they are in contact with the victim family and has assured them that Mugheezuddin body will soon be brought to Pakistan.
