Police seeks National Press Club’s help in tracing missing teenagers

ISLAMABAD: Capital police has sought help from the National Press Club (NPC) in tracing two teenage girls that went missing in 2016.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Zubair Ahmed Sheikh had requested the senior superintendent of police (SSP) to issue a letter addressed to the NPC president in this regard.

A police officer said, “They are requested to publicise the details of the two girls through newspapers and TV channels in order to trace them.”

Earlier, police had announced a Rs10 million cash reward for anyone who provided assistance in tracing the girls.

Press club General Secretary Shakeel Anjum said that the club’s office-bearers had assured the police of full cooperation.
