LAHORE: A woman was allegedly killed by in-laws on Tuesday after they forced her to drink acid in the South Cantt area of Lahore.
The woman identified as Yasmin, wife of Ghulam Haider, who is a resident of Saij Pal, Chowki Nadirabad.
According to reports, the police quoted the victim’s mother Azra as saying that her daughter’s husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law tortured her over petty issues ever since she got married.
On the day of the incident, Yasmin had a scuffle with her husband, over which, they made her drink acid, which eventually resulted in her death.
Police have collected the evidence and registered a case against the accused people.
