PTI workers visit Harley Street Clinic, pray for Kulsoom’s health

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers residing in the United Kingdom visited Harley Street Clinic on Monday where former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife, Kulsoom Nawaz, is undergoing medical treatment.

On special instructions by PTI Chairman Imran Khan, the workers prayed for the quick recovery of Begum Kulsoom.

PTI shared the video on its official Twitter handle and wrote: “PTI UK workers visited Harley Street Clinic where Kulsoom Nawaz is admitted for treatment. On special directions of Imran Khan, flowers were presented and prayed for her health”.

Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, the wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, is still ‘unconscious’ as doctors and Sharif family remained unable to come to a decision regarding removal of the ventilator.

Begum Kulsoom was shifted to intensive care late Thursday after a cardiac arrest.

She has been admitted to the hospital where she is on life support since June 14. Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam reached London on the same day.

Talking to media outside the hospital, Nawaz’s son Hussain Nawaz, said that his mother is still ‘unconscious’. “Doctors are making every effort to help my mother recover,” he said, adding that he hoped that she would recover quickly.
