NAUNDERO: The people of Jogi community took out a rally and held a protest demonstration in front of local press club here on Saturday against A-Section police of Shahdadkot.
The protesters demanded of higher authorities to conduct a probe and provide justice. The rally participants marched through various roads and terminated at the club where they staged a sit-in. Residents of Garibabad locality including Manzoor Jogi, Roshan Jogi and Arbab Jogi said that two young men Zubair Ali and Ajab Gul were taken to Shahdadkot on the pretext of providing jobs by contractor Javed Shaikh and his manager Allah Rakhyo Shaikh one and half month back and they gave their bodies on 27th April.
They said that they were informed that their boys had died due to suffocation by cleaning sewage water well. They alleged that both young men were sexually assaulted and then thrown into the well forcibly with the help of other accused. They said that FIR 77/2018 was also lodged under section 319 which should now be registered again under 302 for fresh investigation, they demanded.
