ISLAMABAD: The amount allocated for fuel for police stations in the capital has been reduced to Rs19.5 million compared to last year’s allowance of Rs20 million, according to reports.
200,340 litres of fuel was allocated for the 22 police stations in Islamabad during the current year.
On the other hand, in order to function smoothly, the police stations require at least 250,080 litres of fuel which would cost around Rs21.2 million.
There are 62 police vehicles in the capital, out which 35 are pickup trucks and 27 are motorcycles.
