LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Punjab, Kanwal Nauman, has tendered her resignation to Punjab Chief Minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif over inaction on her “genuine issues”.
In her resignation submitted on May 21 (Monday), a copy of which is available with Pakistan Today, the actor-turned-politician stated that Shehbaz never had the time to address her complaints.
“My conscience is satisfied. I am disheartened now. You never had any time for me. I joined the party because you are a kind-hearted man, but you heard and resolved issues of entire Pakistan while I was left behind and wasn’t lucky enough to have that honour,” stated the parliamentarian.
