ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airport (PIA) authorities and the Aviation Division on Monday ordered the chief finance officer to submit financial records of disappeared funds which were used to give presents to journalists.
According to details, the concerned authorities have launched a probe against Aviation Division spokesperson Shair Ali Khan after coming across audit objections.
It was further reported that authorities from both PIA and Aviation Division have come to the common conclusion of carrying out the investigation against other officers involved in financial embezzlement on an institutional level.
Earlier, the commercial audit department had revealed that all bills submitted to them were forged and demanded action against Shair Ali Khan.
