LAHORE: Government College University (GCU) Philosophy Department Chairperson Dr Sobia Tahir stated that Hazaras are peace-loving citizens and their security is the prime responsibility of the state, reported a local English newspaper.
She expressed these views during a peace walk held on campus to express love and solidarity with Hazaras. She expressed deep regret over repeated killings of the community.
A large number of Hazara students study at GCU. The faculty, staff and students sympathise with the community and hope such events will not be repeated in the future, she stated.
