ISLAMABAD: Leaders from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) on Saturday called on former president Asif Ali Zardari at the Zardari House in Islamabad.
Dina Naz of PTI, Nazim from Hayatabad, Masood Khattak, Naib Nazim of Rehmatabad, Hakim-ur-Rehman and QWP candidate and regional general secretary Masood-ul-Islam announced to join the Pakistan People’s Party.
A lawyers’ delegation also called on the former president. The delegation consisted of Niaz-ur-Rehman, Masood Khattak, Abdul Rehman Khattak and Anwer Ali Toor.
PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Humayun Khan, Senator Behramand Tangi, Senator Rubina Khalid, Senator Sardar Ali Khan and spokesman to former president Amir Fida Paracha were also present on the occasion.
New entrants in the party reposed full confidence on the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto. They said that PPP has always struggled for the rights of downtrodden masses.
Zardari gave identity to the people of KPK and people know that PPP leadership fulfills all the promises it makes.
