DIG operations gives cash prizes to officials for making PSL successful

LAHORE: Cash prizes and certificates were awarded by Lahore Police Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Dr Haider Ashraf to Superintendent of Police (SP) Headquarters Atif Nazir and other officers of Qilla Gujjar Singh Police Lines for performing extremely well on their duties during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches played on March 20 and 21 in the metropolitan.

According to the details, the cash prizes were given to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Farhat Abbas, Reserve Inspector Nauman, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Khalid, Muhammad Shafique, Qasim Ali, Muhammad Ayyub, Muzhar Hussain, Muhammad Irshad, Ghulam Abbas, Jagdey Khan, Akbar Abbas, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Nadeem, Kaleemullah, Muhammad Irfan Sarwar, Zahid Ali, Sawar Khan, Abdul Razzaq, Rehman Ahmad, Shehzad Siddique and Riaz Ahmad.

Two matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) were held in Lahore last month and the security arrangements were appreciated by everyone as it was completely impossible to play international cricket in the country in the recent past but the improved security situation made it possible for foreign players to come to Pakistan to play cricket.

Speaking on the occasion, DIG operations said that all officers had made PSL successful through their work.

“It was impossible to make PSL successful without the technical and logistic support of Qilla Gujjar Singh Police Lines,” he said while appreciating the SP Headquarters Atif Nazir as he along with his team performed extremely well and with full dedication. He further said that Lahore Police had proved itself as the best police force in Punjab by making PSL successful in Pakistan.
