KARACHI: Dar-e-Arqam Schools Shah Faisal and Drigh road Campuses organised their 2nd annual prize distribution ceremony at Dhanak lawn, Shah Faisal Colony.
The Regional Director of Dar-e-Arqam schools Habib Saad Siddiqui was the chief guest at the ceremony. The proceedings started with the recitation of Holy Quran and its Urdu translation by Abdul Wahab & Sahar Fatima, students of the Hifz department. A packed auditorium was then presented by a Naat-e-Rasool recited by Abdul Basit.
Habib Saad Siddiqui spoke at length about the importance of education and the role Dar-e-Arqam has played in that regard. He commended efforts by Dar-e-Arqam to raise conscientious and well-informed members of society.
Owais Ahmed Siddiqui and Rao Zahid Iqbal distributed shields and medals among the high-achievers. The academic staff were also lauded for their performance and achievements.
Nursery class students conducted a short play demonstrating the importance of protecting trees while students of class V, Zobia Siddiqui and Adan Noor, highlighted the importance of learning the Arabic language and its translation. The plays were met with applaud by guests and parents alike.
The ceremony ended with a du’aa by Qari Sadaqat.
