MUZZAFARABAD: Indian clothing brand has launched t-shirts mocking the prosecuted residents of Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).

Kashmiris in the held valley have condemned it and called this act to rub salt on injuries inflicted by Indian military forces to innocent Kashmiri youth who was tied in front of the jeep in Beerwah area of district Budgam last year.

Exactly after a year, a brand has launched t-shirts with the caricature of the youth, Dar, tied against the jeep.

Condemning the act, Central Vice President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Youth Wing Pakistan Shahid Mehmood Wani said that this is shameless that an innocent man was tied with the jeep to terrorise people and an Indian brand is mocking him and Kashmiris.

Opposition Leader in Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (AJKLA) Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen called this act inhuman and humiliation for all Kashmiris and urged the international community to take notice of such acts.

“It shows the hate Indians have for Kashmir and its people by mocking a man who was earlier humiliated by Indian Army,” he said.

Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in AJKLA Abdul Majid Khan said that this step has been taken on behalf of Indian forces. “We appeal Pakistani government and foreign office to raise the issue with New Delhi,” he stated.
