KARACHI: A local court on Wednesday exonerated Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) former member Saleem Shehzad in a case pertaining to anarchy and murder.
It may be mentioned here that the court has freed Saleem Shehzad in five cases that were filed in PS- Malir, Khokhrapar, and Landhi. Now only one case needs to be heard.
According to the details, Shehzad appeared before an additional district and session judge for the hearing in a case that was filed in 1997.
The hearing of the second case against Shehzad has been adjourned till March 6.
Last month, Shahzad joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after meeting with PTI chief Imran Khan at his Bani Gala residence.
