ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday issued contempt of court notices to Geo TV Network Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mir Ibrahim, Ayesha Baksh, Imtiaz Alam, and Hassan Nisar for insulting judiciary in a programme.
A single bench of the IHC headed by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddique took up the case for hearing.
The court while taking notice of contempt of court allegedly committed in Geo TV Network’s program ‘Report Card’ with reference to Valentine’s Day and summoned the anchor and other participants of the program on February 27.
