Pakistan Society of Gastroenterology’s conference to be held from Feb 21-25

—Participants from six countries will attend the medical conference

LAHORE: The 34th annual conference of Pakistan Society of Gastroenterology, titled ‘Gastro Summit 2018’ will be held from February 21 to 25 in Lahore.

This summit would continue for five days where medical experts would address participants about different issues prevalent in the medical field.

National and international delegates would deliver lectures on stomach and liver diseases while sharing their experiences in this regard.  Post Graduate Medical Institute Principal Professor Dr Ghiasun Nabi Tayyab said that apart from Pakistan, this conference would also be attended by medical experts from the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom (UK), Turkey, India, Afghanistan and Canada, while adding that for the first time this conference would be telecast live through the internet.

He said that this platform would provide an opportunity to enhance the capabilities of under training doctors and paramedical staff. Professor Ghias also said that workshops would also take place before the conference and would cover different medical departments

It is important to mention here that Professor Ghias is the patron in chief of this international conference while Dr Israrul Haq Toor is the main organizer of this important event. In this conference, around 13 sessions would take place and research papers would also be shared with the participants.
