KARACHI: Sindh Ranger Director-General (DG) Major General Muhammad Saeed on Thursday visited Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to meet their office bearers.
On this occasion, the KCCI leaders welcomed the Rangers DG and briefed him about threat calls of extortionists after a hand grenade attack on Kahradar cloth market on 18th January.
KCCI officials were informed that after the start of the Karachi operation, terrorism-related crimes were significantly reduced and the situation came under control.
DG said that Rangers will continue to provide full support to the authorities to control crimes to create a secure environment. He appealed to the traders to inform the rangers about any threat or call to pay extortion money.
Traders and industrialists present on the occasion appreciated Rangers’ efforts and showed confidence in the paramilitary force.
