KASUR: Father of yet another missing girl, Nadia Ansari, in Kasur accused the police on Friday of not cooperating with the family in finding her daughter who was abducted two months ago.

Nadia lived in Kasur’s Phool Nagar area and had gone missing two months ago. Her parents are still struggling to have their daughter recovered.

While speaking to a local media outlet, Younas Ansari claimed that he had several times attempted to lodge a complaint with the police against his daughter’s abduction, but failed every time.

In August 2015, the country’s biggest child abuse scandal was unearthed in Ganda Singh Wala area of Kasur, where around 400 videos of about 280 victims of abuse were made by a gang of over 25 criminals.

The recent rape and murder of seven-year-old Zainab led to a national outcry and violent protests by the citizens of Kasur. Two demonstrators were killed by the police as a result of straight firing in an attempt to disperse the crowd.
