Badin District Council to invest Rs36 million in development schemes: chairman

BADIN: Badin District Council Chairman Ali Asghar Halepoto has said the council will start Rs 36 million worth developments projects in the district.

Talking to reporters at his office the other day, he said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will win a landslide victory in the province of Sindh, including district Badin, and its opponents will be left red-faced.

“The district council will start schemes of 36 million very soon and details in this regard were sought from the members of the district council,” he said, adding that these schemes include clean drinking water for the residents; health facilities; drainage system; and uplift of education facilities.

He also expressed sorrow over the demise of PPP leader Sardar Ali Ahmed Pitafi, and termed the death an “irreparable loss” while praying for the departed soul.
