ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Wednesday maintained Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s decision to declare Park View City Housing Scheme as illegal for not meeting the required criteria.

Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzaib announced the judgment and dismissed the petition of the housing society, challenging the decision of CDA. The petitioner had stated in his plea that the CDA had unlawfully declared the society as illegal and requested the court to declare CDA’s decision as null and void.

It may be mentioned here that the CDA had declared the development in the Park View City Housing Scheme unauthorized, and warned the general public against investing in it through an advertisement in September.

The housing scheme comprising 1,067.9 kanals of land at Malot Road in Zone-IV is co-owned by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s Abdul Aleem Khan along with his wife and two others.
