SUKKUR: Two women who were set ablaze by a drunk policeman in Sukkur last week, succumbed to their wounds on Tuesday, the media reported.
Police Constable Mehboob Bhutto had set his sister Nausheen and a neighbour Arbeli on fire on Friday for inviting unwanted guests to his nephew’s wedding. The victims had been under treatment at a private hospital in Karachi.
The bodies have been handed over to the victims’ relatives after completing medico-legal formalities.
