ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that by following the golden principles of Quaid-e-Azam, the country can be put on the path of progress and development.
She was addressing the cake-cutting ceremony in connection with the Quaid’s birth anniversary at PTV on Monday. She said Quaid-e-Azam was a great advocate of democracy.
She said that all the federating units should work together to strengthen the democratic institutions in the country.
She further said that by following the path of the Quaid-e-Azam the government is striving hard to address the challenges facing the country.
Aurangzeb claimed that the government has added 11000 megawatts of electricity to the national grid and that the issue of terrorism has been overcome.
She said the government is working on comprehensive plans for the development of the country and welfare of the common man.
The information minister said that the prime minister’s Education Reforms Programme, Health Cards and other initiatives will improve the standard of education and health in the country.
