SHO killed and three cops injured in a shootout

NASEERABAD: A Station House Officer (SHO)  was killed and three cops injured during an encounter with bandits in Gandakha area of Naseerabad on Friday.

According to the sources, on a tip-off about the presence of two bandits in Gandakha area a police team led by SHO Naseerabad Abdul Rahim raided their den.

When the accused saw police, they opened fire on them. During the shootout, SHO Abdul Rahim died on the spot, while three other cops were injured.

However, a bandit was also killed and his accomplice injured during the shootout.

The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Nasirabad for treatment.
