MADRID: Real Madrid’s star player Christiano Ronaldo returned to full training on Friday. There were rumors circulating that he might miss the upcoming, and much anticipated, match against Barcelona at Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Ronaldo didn’t train with the rest of the Madrid squad on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday as a precaution.
Madrid needs Ronaldo back in the form, as the European champions aspire to prepare for the title. He had scored five goals in his last four games
Zinedine Zidane’s men trail Barca by 11 points and are in fourth place also behind Atletico Madrid and Valencia, but they do have a game in hand on their rivals.
