KARACHI: The Sindh government has imposed a complete ban on one-wheeling, over-speeding and racing of motorbikes in the territorial limits of Karachi Division and Thatta District for a period of six-months forthwith.
The provincial government has imposed the ban in exercise of its powers conferred under section 144 (6) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, reads a notification issued here on Friday.
Station house officers (SHOs) of police stations concerned are authorized to register complaints under section 188 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) in writing against the violators.
