FAISALABAD: A Station House Officer (SHO) was arrested for failure to control the drug business and taking solid action against those involved in drug peddling.
Faisalabad District Police Officer (DPO) said that in line with the directives of high police authorities, Sumundri City Police Station SHO, Mansoor Sadiq was arrested.
The detainee was arrested over failure to control the increasing drugs business in the areas under his jurisdiction, taking action against the drug pushers, and allegations of facilitating the elements involved in the drug business.
A case was registered against the detained police official and investigation was underway.
