LAHORE: Punjab chief minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif presided a meeting over the Kasur tragedy on Wednesday.
During the meeting, he reprimanded the police officials with regard to the murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kasur. He termed the incident as the most tragic and made it clear that the criminals must be arrested and no laziness will be tolerated.
He said that an action will also be initiated against the concerned police officers for showing negligence and added that such tragic incidents could not be tolerated at any cost.
Additional chief secretary (Home), IG police, RPO Sheikhupura and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
