Sixteen-year-old Haider Ali, the sole survivor of the Turbat massacre, reached his home in Sambrial town of Sialkot district on Monday, media reports said.
The banned Baloch Liberation Front, headed by Allah Nazar Baloch, had claimed the responsibility for the killings of the 15 men – who aspired to enter Europe illegally – from Punjab.
Ali, who was accompanying the 15 people found dead by the Levies in Buleda area of Turbat near the Pakistan-Iran border of Gurok, was left behind during the journey when the vehicle carrying the others departed while he was using a washroom.
After the report of the massacre came to the fore, the boy, 16, contacted his family and told them that he was alive.
Three days after the massacre, five more bullet-riddled bodies were found in Tajban area, some 70 kilometres east of Turbat city.
Following the killings, FC Balochistan conducted an important intelligence-based operation near Alandur, Abdul Rehman village, Turbat and gunned down a top militant commander near the site where the bodies were found on November 15.
