LAHORE: Due to efforts of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) of Punjab, an expatriate citizen has got back possession of his property worth Rs 20 million.
Sharing details in this regard, OPC Vice Chairperson Shaheen Khalid Butt said that Zulfiqar Ali, settled in Saudi Arabia, lodged a complaint that some persons have illegally occupied his 25 marla property, situated in the Sabz Kot area of tehsil Pasrur in Sialkot district.
This complaint was referred to the District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Sialkot and after hectic efforts; the expatriate citizen got back the possession of his property. With the intervention of OPC, thousands of complaints of the Overseas Pakistanis have been settled amicably, Shaheen Butt said.
