KARACHI: Police arrested two robbers in injured condition after an alleged encounter in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the city on Saturday.
According to police sources, a search operation was conducted by the police near Sunday Bazaar in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area, where two robbers identified as Kamran and Abdul Baloch opened fire on police team. During the shootout which lasted for a while, the accused sustained bullet injuries.
Police arrested them in injured condition and recovered two TT pistols, bullets, 4 mobile phones and a motorbike from their possession.
The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
