RAIWIND: The first phase of Raiwind Tablighi Jamaat Ijtima concluded on Sunday.
The concluding prayer was offered by Maulana Haji Abdul Wahab. The participants of the ijtima prayed for peace, prosperity and development of the country.
Thousands of people attended the congregation and participants departed for their homes after the concluding session.
Meanwhile, the National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP) urged people returning from the ijtima to travel carefully due to smog.
The City Traffic Police (CTP) also made effective traffic arrangements to ensure a smooth traffic flow following the congregation’s conclusion.
The city police also put in place stringent security arrangements and police personnel remained on high alert to avoid any untoward incident.
