ISLAMABAD: Security forces conducted a search operation in Tarnol suburb of the federal capital on Saturday and arrested 21 suspects, while recovering arms and ammunition from their possession.
According to details, around 200 houses were checked during the operation and 320 persons were questioned by security forces personnel. At least 21 suspects, who failed to prove their identity, were taken into custody and arms were recovered from their possession.
Security forces personnel also seized four kilogrammes of heroin from the suspects, while also recovering Rs 126,500 from them. Later, the suspects were shifted to Turnol Police Station for further investigation.
