Provincial Ombudsman Asad Ashraf Malik has issued the arrest warrants of District Municipal Committee (West) Municipal Commissioner Waseem Soomro and directed the SSP concerned to arrest and present before him on October 18.
He further ordered, ‘If the municipal commissioner deposits Rs 20,000 as guarantee and ensure that he will appear on October 18, at 4pm before him so he will re-consider his arrest.
It may be mentioned here that the municipal commissioner was directed to appear and provide required record over the registered complaint against him but he failed to do so during the enquiry and the case, falling which bailable warrants were issued to arrest him.
