KARACHI: The Karachi University’s (KU) Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics (ISPA) is organising the 5th national conference on ‘Space, Science and Technology’ from October 9 to 10 for celebrating World Space Week 2017.
According to details, the theme of the conference is ‘Exploring New Worlds in Space’. However, a wide range of topics of space, science and technology will be covered in the conference. Space scientists from all over Pakistan will attend this conference.
The inaugural ceremony will be held at the KU Arts Auditorium on October 9. KU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan will preside over the inaugural ceremony while National Center for Physics Director-General Dr Hafeez Hoorani will be the chief guest.
The closing ceremony will be held on October 10 at KU Arts Auditorium and KU Faculty of Science Dean Professor Dr Tasneem Adam Ali will preside over the closing ceremony.
