MULTAN: Veteran politician Javed Hashmi believes that Kalsoom Nawaz will win the NA-120 by-election with a thumping majority. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said there were no differences between the Sharif brothers. However, he added, minor issues keep surfacing in all political parties.
He said that Chaudhry Nisar Ali would never part ways with the PML-N and added: “Had he (Hashmi) been in the party, he would have played reconciliatory role.”
He claimed that various development projects in Multan including Health University, Dental College, Cardiology Hospital, Kidney Hospital, different fly-overs and under-passes, the international airport, Engineering University, Women University, educational institutions were approved with his special efforts.
He said that he had always fought for supremacy of the parliament.
He said that unlike others, he along with his daughter, tendered resignations from Parliament and presented themselves before the people. He claimed that he was offered special protocol with two, three ministries for making a forward bloc in the Parliament, but he refused. He said that he never ever wished to destabilise any political party.
Replying to a question, he said Pakistan must raise voice for Rohingya Muslims.
