Late singer Michael Jackson’s album Scream is set to release on September 29 on CD and digital.

On September 29, Epic/Legacy Recordings, in collaboration with The Estate of Michael Jackson, will release Scream, a collection of 13 of his all-time most danceable tracks like Thriller and Dirty Diana, read a statement.

Scream also includes a newly created bonus track, Blood on the dance floor X Dangerous, a high-energy five-song mash-up from the acclaimed remix artist The White Panda.

Starting from Thursday, fans will be able to access the Blood on the dance Floor X Dangerous mash-up of Blood on the Dance FloorDangerousThis Place Hotel, Leave Me Alone and Is It Scary.

The album will be available in two physical formats, CD and glow-in-dark vinyl (available on October 27) each containing a poster unique to the format.

Fittingly, the poster and cover art conceal the first ever AR (augmented reality) experience created for a Michael Jackson project.

Previously, it was reported that music video Thriller was not the product of a brilliant idea but was made because pop star Michael Jackson wanted to be a monster, director John Landis said at the Venice film festival.

Landis was in Venice to present the 3D version of the video, which was made 35 years after the original. It was screened as a special event in the out-of-competition section.

Thriller was nobody’s good idea, it was no brilliant business plan,” John Landis told journalists.

“It was a vanity video because Michael wanted to be a monster. And everything that came, evolved from that, was spectacularly successful and I was totally surprised.”

Landis said Jackson first approached him about making the video because he liked his work on An American Werewolf in London and the two, along with make-up artist Rick Baker, met to look at photographs from old monster movies.

“Turns out he hasn’t seen many horror films, they were too scary. I found him great,” Landis said, laughing. “He wanted zombies, but the big thing for Mike was turning into a monster.”.
