Minister of State for Interior Muhammad Talal Chaudhry Tuesday called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at the PM Office.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to interior ministry were discussed, the PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
Earlier, Talal assumed the charge as minister of state for interior.
He will assist Minister for Interior Chaudhry Ahsan Iqbal in the dispensation of his duties and contribute to the government efforts for restoration of peace, and elimination of terrorism and anti-state elements.
